Actuarial Reports and Valuations

The Pensions and Divorce Advisory Group provide actuarial reports and valuations of pension rights in divorce negotiations and settlements. We believe that the provision to family lawyers and barristers of actuarial calculated valuations in themselves may often not be tremendously helpful without some detailed discussion and guidance relating to either the particular pension scheme or schemes of each party.

There are many different types of pension schemes in the UK and it would be unfair and unreasonable to expect family lawyers to either understand or even be able to identify one of these types of schemes, let alone know how to deal with them in divorce negotiations. This is where The Pensions and Divorce Advisory Group can offer the advice and guidance required by family lawyers and their clients.

Meetings and Remuneration

The Pensions and Advisory Group conducts meetings both in and out house and is rewarded on either a fee or renumeration or fee/renumeration offset basis. Whatever arrangement is required by the client and best suits their circumstances can be accommodated.
