The registered individuals are constantly up-to-date with changes in pension and divorce legislation as Mellor Associates is an appointed representative of The Divorce Corporation. The Divorce Corporation was established over six years ago. The founding directors and owners being Robin Ellison, National Head of Pensions at Evershed and Keith Popplewell, a leading figure in the pensions profession and consultant pension providers, intermediaries and regulatory bodies. John Ferguson, leading consultancy actuary, is also retained by the company.

Structured Training and Seminars

The Divorce Corporation design and deliver for their appointed representatives an ongoing structured training programme on the subject of pensions and divorce. This is supported by regular seminars throughout the year together with monthly technical briefing notes and case studies. This enables appointed representatives to provide advice and guidance based upon a sound technical knowledge and understanding of pensions and divorce legislation.
