David was born in Bristol.

He is married with two children. His daughter attends Bournemouth University (in her third year), and his son is studying for “A” levels at a local Grammar school.

After leaving full time education David worked in Switzerland for a year in one of the top hotels in Zurich, returning to the UK after the expiry of his work permit.

Back in the UK, David worked in the food service industry and latterly as an Area Manager in north west London managing some prestige contracts.

In 1991 David joined Prudential Assurance as a Financial Consultant, then in 1994 moved to Friends Provident in the same role.

In 1997 David joined Chequers Financial Services as an Independent Financial Adviser. Chequers merged with The Financial Management Group in 2003.

Over the years David has built up an established client base working with professional connections – accountants and solicitors. David’s clients are mainly located in west London/Thames Valley area and his main sources of business are from recommendations and referrals.
